The artist hopes to release the TVT set before the end of the year but a date has yet to be confirmed.
"I worked with the guitar player from P.O.D., Marcos, a punk band called Whole Wheat Bread from Jacksonville, Fla., Kid Rock and a few others," Lil Jon tells Billboard.com. "My sh*t is real rock guitars with my beats, not keyboard guitars with ghetto beats. It's gonna be a little different from what you hear right now, but I think everyone will love it."
The half-rock, half-hip-hop set will also feature Remy Ma, Lil Wayne, The Game, Gucci Mane, Fabo from D4L and Three 6 Mafia.
As far as other rap groups using rock elements in their music recently, Jon says he's pleased that they can open their minds up to rock. "I've been doing crunk rock for the past two years," he says. "I did a street record with Three 6 Mafia in October where I say 'Party like a rock star, f*ck like a porn star.' Now everybody wants to be a rock star 'cause it's cool."

So what is a "Pimp My Ride" crew doing in, of all places, the Netherlands? Looking for "beater" cars and their beaten-down owners to star on "Pimp My Ride International," a pan-European show set to be shown in the fall.
For reasons perhaps understandable only to residents of the Continent, the show has been one of MTV's biggest crossover successes.
" 'Pimp My Ride' is our No. 1 show in Europe," said Richard Godfrey, a senior vice president at MTV Networks International and producer of "Pimp My Ride International." "When we go and film in places like Poland, it becomes front-page news."
After the call went out this year ? "Calling Bangers and Wrecks From All Over Europe!" ? thousands of candidates, from as far away as Turkey and Israel, sent in photos of themselves and their cars.
MTV is leaving little to chance with the new show. No local hosts or junky two-wheelers here: the show will star the hip-hop artist and producer Lil Jon, Atlanta's self-styled "King of Crunk," and the Latino rapper Fat Joe, and will feature cars instantly recognizable to European viewers.
The show's format is the same as that of the United States series. Each episode opens with a hard luck story from a young pimpee, who bemoans the pitiful condition of his ride. The host arrives at the doorstep of the car owner, who screams, cries and hugs the host. The "banger" goes to the shop ? in this case, the All-Stoff garage in Alkmaar, the Netherlands ? and is magically transformed, thanks to a new paint job, a rebuilt body and the installation of shiny fat rims. The show ends with the "reveal," the owner's first glimpse at the newly pimpalicious ride. More screams, cries and hugs ensue.
Lil Jon is taping his episodes this month, pimping an Audi shared by Swedish identical twin brothers, a Datsun Sunny owned by a 19-year-old aspiring rap lyricist in Portugal, and a 1980 Opel Cabrio, the property of a 21-year-old bank employee in Germany named Carolin. The Opel's molding interior has become a nesting ground for birds and spiders.
"The show is popular because this is the average Joe," Lil Jon said. "Everybody doesn't have money to go buy a brand-new car or to even customize their old one, so people can see themselves on that screen."
